Al Nassr’s 6–2 win is confirmed

Al Nassr beat Pakhtakor 6–2 in Tashkent on 2 November, with João Félix scoring twice and supplying two assists. ESPN’s match summary marked the AFC Champions League Elite game as completed at the 15:55 UTC (17:55 CAT) check. This result report replaces the earlier live updates.

Eight goals, with Félix involved in four

Abdullah Al-Hamdan opened the scoring in the 15th minute from a Félix assist. Félix then struck in the 17th and 32nd minutes, with Sadio Mané assisting his second. Flamarion pulled one back in the 36th minute from Sherzod Nasrullaev’s assist; the goal was confirmed following VAR review.

Abdulelah Al-Amri headed in Al Nassr’s fourth in the 53rd minute from a Félix delivery following a corner. Abdulrahman Ghareeb made it five in the 62nd minute, with another Mané assist. Dostonbek Khamdamov replied for Pakhtakor in the 75th minute before Ângelo completed the scoring in the 79th, assisted by Al-Hamdan.

The shooting difference behind the score

Pakhtakor recorded 16 attempts to Al Nassr’s 14, but the visitors put eight shots on target compared with five for the home side. Possession was almost even: Pakhtakor had 50.4%, Al Nassr 49.6%.

Our reading: the final margin came alongside more accurate shooting rather than a large advantage in possession or total attempts. Félix’s two goals and two assists made him directly involved in four of the six goals, while Mané’s two assists and Al-Hamdan’s goal and assist spread the attacking contributions beyond one player.
