Roberto Piccoli is in Bologna’s squad for Saturday’s visit to Parma, according to the club’s list published on 6 November.

The Serie A fixture at the Stadio Ennio Tardini starts at 18:00 CET (17:00 UTC/GMT; 19:00 CAT) on 7 November.

The latest selection updates the training picture

On Tuesday, Bologna reported that Piccoli, Lorenzo De Silvestri and Jay Enem had worked separately as the squad began preparations for Parma.

Friday’s announcement includes Piccoli among Raffaele Palladino’s attacking options, alongside Dovbyk, Odgaard, Orsolini, Bernardeschi, Cambiaghi and Mbangula.

The squad list does not specify Piccoli’s expected role or playing time. Tuesday’s report also supplied no diagnosis or recovery deadline.

What it changes for the match

Our analysis: the newer squad announcement is the relevant update for selection, while the earlier training report explains why Piccoli’s inclusion is noteworthy. Treating Tuesday’s individual work as proof of a continuing absence would miss that change.

Palladino has Piccoli among the players he can consider at Parma. The starting team and any substitutions will establish how he uses those options.
