Joelinton is injured and Jacob Ramsey is suspended for Newcastle’s visit to Craven Cottage. Matias Fernandez-Pardo’s return to training still requires a fitness assessment.

Fulham host Newcastle United at Craven Cottage on Saturday, 7 November, at 15:00 GMT/UTC (16:00 CET; 17:00 CAT), as confirmed by Newcastle’s official match information.

Two confirmed absences

Newcastle will be without Joelinton through injury and Jacob Ramsey through suspension. The club’s account of Matthias Jaissle’s Thursday briefing says Ramsey serves a one-match ban following his red card against Everton.

Jaissle had not established how long Joelinton would be out, with a treatment plan still to be finalised. Lewis Miley was making progress, while Matias Fernandez-Pardo had returned to group training after more than two weeks out with a virus. His physical readiness for Fulham still required assessment.

The response Newcastle need

Newcastle lost 1–0 at home to Everton on Monday. Their previous away league match brought a 2–0 win at Crystal Palace.

Our analysis: the immediate selection problem is replacing two unavailable midfield options while deciding how much the returning players can contribute. Training involvement alone does not establish readiness for a start or a full match.

The Palace result provides a recent away reference, but the absences mean Newcastle must find their response with a different available group. The confirmed team sheet will show how Jaissle distributes those responsibilities.
