The updated official result

Formula 1’s Mexico classification lists Max Verstappen first in 2:20:28.772 after 71 laps, ahead of Lewis Hamilton by 0.799 seconds and Kimi Antonelli by 4.006 seconds. The page no longer carries its earlier provisional label.

Penalties change the lower order

Oscar Piastri is now 13th at 29.475 seconds following a 10-second penalty for causing a collision. Franco Colapinto is 15th after a 10-second penalty for failing to slow under yellow flags. Pierre Gasly is 17th after a post-race stop-and-go penalty for the same infringement.

A point for Hirakawa

Ryo Hirakawa is now listed 10th for Haas with one point, replacing the earlier provisional 13th place. Our reading is that this revision shows why the published penalty decisions matter alongside the on-track finishing sequence. This article replaces the earlier provisional account.
